Amir Jafari, DO

My name is Amir Jafari, DO, and I am an assistant professor of anesthesiology in the University of Florida Division of Pain Medicine. I chose the field of pain medicine because of my experience with a loved one who suffers with chronic pain. Providing high-quality care can evoke positive changes for a patient and their family members. This principle has been the focus of my work as an educator, interventional pain physician and traveling medical services volunteer. I received my bachelor's degree in biology at the University of California San Diego and my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
