First Baptist Church of Cedar Key

We seek to glorify God by reaching out to the lost and building up disciples. We are Baptistic in our understanding of ecclesiology (church government) and in the practice of the ordinances (Baptism and the Lord Supper). We fully believe the Bible is the Word of God and submit to it as our ultimate authority in all things. We believe in exegetical preaching and teaching. We believe in prayer. We love to focus on congregational singing that blends hymns and modern worship songs. We take the Lord’s Supper every week. We have a plurality of elders and practice meaningful church membership. Our motto, “Following Jesus Together” reminds us to focus on unity and love among our members. We hope to see the salvation of all peoples. Come visit us!
