My name is Jongmin Kim, MD, and I am a clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. I earned my medical degree from Dankook University in Cheonan, South Korea. Following medical school, I completed an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital in Seoul, South Korea. I completed a fellowship in hand and trauma surgery at Seoul National University Hospital and a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at W Hospital in Daegu. As a physician, I strive to be a place of comfort for my patients where they can share their difficulties. I chose to become a doctor because I enjoy interacting with patients and improving their quality of life.
