Laura C. Dickerson, MD

Her research interests during her fellowship included osteonecrosis of the jaw in cancer patients treated with zoledronic acid and/or pamidronate as well as venous thromboembolism prophylaxis in neurosurgical patients. Dr Dickerson maintains a broad practice encompassing medical oncology, benign and malignant hematology. She has special interests in breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer and thromboembolic disease. She is an active member of the Cancer Team at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Dr Dickerson is an investigator in multiple clinical research trials. She joined Gainesville Hematology and Oncology Assoc. in 2007, prior to the practice merging with Florida Cancer Specialists in 2010.
