My name is Patrick Antonelli and I am a professor of Otolaryngology, Neuroscience, and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Florida. I completed undergraduate, medical school, graduate school, and otolaryngology residency training at the University of Minnesota. After fellowship training in neurotology and skull base surgery at the Michigan Ear Institute, I joined the University of Florida. I served as Chair of Otolaryngology 2004 - 2022 and previously served as assistant dean for clinical informatics and Shands HealthCare Chief Medical Information Officer. I wanted to be a carpenter, but my mother pushed me to attend college. I enjoyed and excelled in biological sciences, leading me to medical school.
