SFP (Small Forest Patch) Conservation Area is a privately-held 17-acre wildlife preserve managed by Marnie Knight Thomas, DVM. It contains a diverse ecology ranging from lowland hammock with karst formations, chimney and sand-bottom sinks, to pine barrens. It is an approved Gopher Tortoise release habitat, and hosts a variety of native Florida flora and fauna. Small Forest Patch ecologies play in important role in the survival of native and endangered species, providing connectivity to larger habitat zones which have been severed by agriculture, mining and development.
