The Katherine

Named for Tom Petty’s beautiful and stylish mother, Katherine “Kitty” Petty, The Katherine is designed to be the epitome of class and kindness. A woman who was known throughout Gainesville for being sweet and thoughtful, and though she died early at 53, her love and influence on Tom and his brother Bruce were never forgotten. Like the city of Gainesville itself, Katherine made it a point to welcome friends and guests with open arms and generous and engaging style.
