UF Health Shands Presurgical Center

The UF Health Shands Presurgical Center is an outpatient clinic that works on behalf of the surgeon or proceduralist team that has referred you to UF Health Shands Hospital as well as the anesthesia team that will be caring for you on the day of your procedure. Our job is to assess your overall health status and address any needs that will better prepare you for your upcoming surgery/procedure. We will work with you and your other physician teams to gather important information about your health so it is available to the anesthesia team on the day of your surgery/procedure.
